"I want this house to be Bear proof and People proof". He had retired from law enforcement. He had worked in Alaska and bought land 30 years ago with a dream to build a vacation home. Here it is. Apparently, bears in this neck of the woods had learned about picture windows, everybody had them to take in the beautiful view and they would break if you leaned on them hard enough. The people part was a little harder.
