.One of my favorite clients! this couple needs to down size but not this small. They own this adorable cabin and want to add on a open living/dining and kitchen area as well as a bedroom suite. The front exterior of the cabin will be an interior wall in the the house. The carport will be framed in and become a library for the clients historical research. They like the arctic entry that is on their current home so we have reflected it in the new place (for those who don't live in arctic climates, an arctic entry is foyer of sorts where there is lots of room to hang coats and is usually walled off from the rest of the house so the cold air stays in the entry).
